Tumors of the gastrointestinal tract: between science and practice

Therapeutic strategies for tumors of the gastrointestinal tract are constantly evolving. Despite some progress made possible by the introduction of new drugs and new treatment strategies, there is also an ever-increasing complexity in the personalized definition of treatments which requires in-depth knowledge of prognostic and predictive factors, both clinical and molecular. Hence the need for constant updating for clinicians involved in this field. This is why we propose this course, focused on the most current and most discussed issues with the aim of offering participants the perspectives of field’s experts, leaving ample space for discussion and guided evaluation of clinical cases.
